Born and raised in a tiny country town in America, I knew from your early age i wished to travel and explore the planet. I used to be a rustic girl with a city heart, and the small capital of scotland- about 2500 people had not been where my calling lied.
After earning a teaching degree I chose it had become time for an alteration. I wished to travel not in the US, so I began to explore opportunities available elsewhere for me personally. A few weeks later I discovered a great teaching position in Rome, Italy.
I was hired for your position which will start at the start of the new school year. I began making preparations and before I knew it arrived for me to board a plane and commence a fresh life on this fantastic country. It absolutely was something that was long awaited though nerve wrecking.
Im often asked a few things i like about teaching in Italy. This is simply not a straightforward question to reply to. It isnt that I hate anything about teaching in Italy; you will find quite a few stuff that I really like about it to merely choose one. This really is, undoubtedly, the most beautiful experience that I have ever been an integral part of.
Obviously my paycheck is one thing i love also. Working with a top university in Rome, my pay is much more than a few things i would have seen in America. I prefer to go to work and see those paychecks!
But, to enjoy employment you must love more than the paycheck, and i also can say which i truly love everything about being an instructor here in Italy. My students encourage me in numerous ways. They create simple to use to unwind, unwind and feel like I will be amongst several old college friends. There exists a great time day in and day trip, all the while they learn nearly as much as me.
The work offers us a great schedule. I can teach my students yet still be home when the kids get out of school. Sometimes part-time but receive full benefits and pay. I not really know how the hours and the schedule which i have would be something I could find working anywhere else.
I also love in Rome since there is so much to discover and so much that i can learn . It is far different than things i am accustomed to, but I enjoy every minute of it. There is no dull moment personally, and i also can say that I am living life towards the fullest.I really like the history in Rome, I love the people and their eagerness to understand.
For anybody considering teaching overseas, Italy happens when to be. Making the decision to travel abroad and teach in this school has become a truly remarkable experience that has forever changed my entire life. I’m so grateful which i was given the chance. It isnt every day that this opportunity occurs.
